Waiting on...the bus

Did you know this week is National School Bus Safety week?  It's the perfect time to thank your bus driver for getting your kiddos to and from school each day!  Here's a little something I put together last night.
found these super cute Halloween trays at Dollar Tree (3 for $1 - score!)
I added some candy from our Halloween stash,
put them in a clear bag, added a bow and a tag
TA DA!!!
free printable tags can be found here
And, just keeping things real - the twelve your old isn't too fond of my gift giving (he gets embarrassed carrying Pinterest-y things around!) so I had to camouflage the goodies.
But, it isn't about the gift, or even the way it's delivered, it's all about the thought that went into making it and I wanted our bus driver and monitor to know how much we appreciated them getting our kiddos to and from school safely each day.

Don't WAIT - go thank a bus driver! :)

Gig 'em and God bless!

    1. Oh, and the plastic bag wasn't enough - he shoved the plastic bag in a cinch bag on his way out the door. No telling what the trays looked like by the time they reached the bus! :) And, can't you just hear him, "Mom, do I have to?!" Keep in mind he's the FIRST one on the bus and only he would know that he gave them something! Aren't we all a work in progress? :)

I love when you leave comments! So...what are you waiting for?! :)
