Below is a recap of what Sara, the kiddos and I have done for the last couple of days to give back just a little for a few things from our thankful list. We would love to see how you have been serving! Be sure to share with us on Instagram with the hashtag #30daysofThanksandGiving! I'm already stumped on a few things on our list and could use some inspiration from you guys!
Day 1
We are thankful for sweet neighbors.
Mrs. Pam and Mr. Joe are always so thoughtful and sweet to our kiddos. We were visiting with them on Halloween night and
Mr. Joe mentioned that his favorite candy was Milk Duds. So, after trick-or-treating, we went through our candy stash and pulled out all the Milk Duds. We hope he got a big smile when he opened his mailbox today!

Hunter and Savannah are thankful for
Great Grandparents. They made a special stop on Hunter's birthday weekend getaway to deliver flowers to their Great Grandmaw!

Day 2
Holden listed that she was thankful for books so the kiddos went through their bookcases and chose some books that they would like to donate to Books and a Blanket. This
non-profit was started when a couple of sisters from our community had an idea - they love to read and wanted everyone to have books of their own. They realized that not everyone had books at home so they started collecting books to share. I love how they saw a need and found a way to help!
Way to go, girls!!!

Hunter was thankful for his fun birthday weekend getaway. To say thank you, they left a note of appreciation and $5 for the housekeeper that cleaned their room.
So sweet! I bet that made her day!
Day 3
Kennedy is our 15 year old lab. She is greatly loved and definitely made the top of the list of things our family is thankful for. I asked Holden how we should show Kennedy how thankful we are for her and she suggested staying home from school and loving on her all day. :) Unfortunately, and to Holden's great disappointment, she had to go to school, but we decided that lots of extra hugs and kisses would show Kennedy how much we appreciate her unconditional love of our family.
Today is Hunter's birthday and as a way to honor their sweet 4lb. preemie born 5 years ago, they made a donation to the March of Dimes.
a couple of fun ideas + free printables!
I've been checking Pinterest again and have some great (free!) printables that you can use this month as you are out and about Thanking and Giving! :) Enjoy!
