March Goals + a report card on my February Goals

How in the world is it already March?!  Wowzers!  Before we get too far in to the month, I wanted to give a report card on my February Goals and then lay out the ones I have for March.  It sounded a little, well, weird at first to list my goals for all to see but I must say that I like the reminder and especially the accountability that it gives me!
As you can see, I gave myself a C on my intentional and joy filled quiet time.  I completely cratered at the end of the month.  I started off so good diving into the Word for the Love Challenge.  Every day I felt like I was getting something that I had never understood and it!  And then I got out of doing it daily and we all know how quickly that can unravel.  But, I'm not giving up!  I'm going to do better!  :)  I'll keep this on the list for next month!

Here are the links to the Love Challenge if you weren't able to check it out or you missed a day or two:

Whoo hoo!  I completed some projects this month!  I gave myself a grade of B because there are so many more to go!  :)  But, it's just so much fun to start something new! #crafterproblems  My goal was to complete a couple each week.  Here's just a sampling of the projects that I was able to wrap up this month:
Holden & Hope's Valentines
Valentine goodies for the kiddos' teachers
Valentine treats for a couple of friends
special treats for a family headed to Disney World - these were filled with quarters and pennies to be used in the penny presses!
quite possibly my favorite project this month - I added poms to this blanket!  I have a serious love of all things POMS - you'll see what I mean here.

Intentional with friendships definitely gets an A and it made me so happy!  I made sure to make time all month long for friendships.  I had four separate lunches with dear friends that I don't get to see on a regular basis.  I love how we can pick up right where we left off - no matter how long it's been!  Blessed!!!  I also went on a Girls Night Out and Shelly and I were able to head out for a late dinner one night last week!

I'm definitely super excited to tell you that I went an ENTIRE MONTH and did not flake on working out -!  But, I must admit that a very spur of the moment decision to go to Vegas next week was a slight (ok, a HUGE!) motivating factor!  And Mike and I even did a couples workout together on Valentine's Day!  It kicked my tail but it was fun being together and encouraging each other.
All smiles - before I saw the WOD!
That's me - the nervous one in pink twisting her hair before we started!  :)
Whoo hoo!  I can't believe I'm saying this - but this was actually a lot of fun!  I hope this starts a new Valentine tradition!

I gave myself an "incomplete" on the baby hats because, well, I just didn't get them done.  :(  Well, I made a couple but that wasn't near the number I wanted to complete.  There's always this month!  Maybe I'll knock out some St. Patrick's Day hats.  Here are some that I completed last year:

And now for my March Goals!

*intentional and joy filled quiet time (see above)
*drink more water - Ugh!  This one is hard for me but I know I need to do better!  I'm hoping by having this app as a reminder and log, that I can up my water intake.

*more date nights with the hubby - Mike and I will get to kick start this with a little trip to Vegas next week!  I'm beyond excited to get away with him for a few days!  We haven't been out of the state, just the two of us, since 2009!!!  Our last trip was to Hilton Head, SC.  We've been on other trips - it's just we take the kids with us 99% of the time.
It will be nice to get away but I hope we can continue to have surprise lunch dates and a couple of date nights when we return.

*plan special 10th birthday party for Holden - It's hard to believe but this sweet girl is going to turn ten on the 20th of this month!
She's requested a sewing party - hopefully I can pull this off!  :)

So, how did you do with your February goals?  Have you made a new list for March yet? Let's keep each other accountable!
