What time is it?
Summertime, it's our vacation
What time is it?
What time is it?
Party time, that's right, say it loud
What time is it?
The time of our lives, anticipation
What time is it?
What time is it?
Summertime, school's out scream and shout
No more wakin' up at six a.m.
'Cause now our time is all our own
Enough already, we're waiting
Enough already, we're waiting
Come on, let's go out of control
Whoop! Today is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL and this mama is out of her mind excited!!! I think I've been counting down the days since
Here are some more of my FAVORITES from this past week!
I never tire of these lip-sync videos! This one is from Moorhead Horizon Middle School in Minnesota and features 1,400 students singing and dancing their hearts out. What's even more impressive?! They did this all in one take after one rehearsal! (How did they ever get that many middle school kids to listen and pay attention?! I can barely get my one middle school kid to listen to me for more than .3 seconds!) There's lots of fun songs and I may love it even more because it includes a few High School Musical songs!
I love to see schools coming together to do something fun! This was my FAVORITE video of the week! Enjoy!!!
last day of school goodies are my FAVORITE!
You knew that these were going to be in the mix! :) These are for the ladies in the front office at the middle school and our FAVORITE Crossing Guard. You can find the printable here.
Holden sewed these cute freeze pop koozies for her classmates. I giggle because Holden and I deal with projects the exact.same.way. We have awesome ideas but our execution is always lacking - and always last minute! :)
I thought they turned out super cute!
We've had a kiddo at our elementary school for the past eight years. I always do something for the teachers but I wanted to do a little something for those behind the scenes too. I bundled a Redbox code, a box of candy, and a bag of microwave popcorn for the office staff, aides, cafeteria workers, janitors, etc. I debated having lunch brought it but I wanted everyone to have an actual something with their name on it to let them know how much we appreciate all they do for our school.
The Redbox printable can be found here.
I recently posted about 5 ways to celebrate the last day of school. One of my FAVORITE things to do is save up summer items that I would buy anyway and present them as a gift on the last day of school. This is what will be waiting on the kiddos when they come home today!
The Dating Divas have awesome ideas to celebrate the last day of school (that's where I got the cute bucket printable!).
FAVORITE pic of the week
I caught these two watching the rain on Monday afternoon and it melted my heart! But, this sweet moment was interrupted by a tornado warning on my phone and the kiddos quickly went into hiding in Mike's closet! Thankful for sweet brothers and for no tornadoes!
Bucket lists are my FAVORITE! I love to check things off a list! Our list isn't a lot of crazy can't do things - mostly just ordinary things that we can make extra-ordinary! You can read more about it here.
I saw this song lyric on Michelle's post last week - I had to borrow because it's PERFECT!
And, before I forgot...the winner of the $30 Target gift card is...
Thank you to all who entered!
