Were you able to join us and bless anyone with a glass or bottle of water? I would love to hear from you if you are serving alongside us this summer!
Hope waited patiently for the garbage truck. Normally she tags along with the bigs when we do our challenges but since they were both gone, she got to be a big girl! The driver of the truck was super appreciative!
Later in the week we took a quick walk in 93 degree weather and we were able to find six people to share water with!
This week's theme is: Random Act(s) of Kindness. The possibilities for this week's challenge are endless!!! But, if you need a little bit of motivation, check out this awesome video (thank you, Kimber, at Let's Do Some Good Today for sharing!).
Wasn't that awesome?! I teared up while watching it! This little girl will never, ever, forget sharing this amazing day with her dad! Such an inspiration! I hope you were inspired with a few ways on how you can complete this week's #soschallenge2015!
I'll get with the kiddos and let them each decide on an idea or two that we can do this week. What about you? Do you have any special random (or intentional) acts of kindness that you like to do? If so, share them in the comments section! I hope you and your family enjoy this challenge!
Join me on Instagram and tag your pictures with #soschallenge2015. I would love to share what you guys are doing! I love pulling inspiration from projects that others are working on so share, share, share!
I hope you'll join me!
Have a fabulous week! Gig 'em and God bless!

Back in the spring I posted three days of Random Acts of Kindness and a list on ideas others can do. This is probably my favorite "showing God's love" of all. I think the best part is doing it and the only person who knows you are blessing someone is God himself. No glory, no compliments from others, just genuine, "I don't need to share this" with anyone, it is between God and I. Blessing their socks off.
ReplyDeleteWe (obviously!) love this too! One of our favorites is to decide before we go to a restaurant to buy dinner for someone. We'll say a quick prayer in the car asking God to show us just the perfect person. There's so much excitement at our table watching them get their check only to realize they don't have to pay! We leave just as happy - if not more so - they they do! I get so much inspiration from others and other's ideas. We show what we do hoping to inspire others too!
DeleteSeriously....I'm cracking up that Holden is almost as tall as that one guy!!!!
ReplyDeleteActually he was a kid just a year or two older than her. Another great moment to talk about kiddos going to work with their parents during the summer!
DeleteI Love the theme this week! We will totally be participating. Did you know there is a Random Act of Kindness College Station Facebook group? How funny huh!?
ReplyDeleteStephanie @ The Dish BCS
Thanks, Stephanie! And, can you send me the link for the RAKCS FB group? I looked it up but didn't find anything. That's definitely something I want to be apart of!
DeleteSuch a great theme- your kids are amazing. Love this!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Keri! They are amazing - most of the time! :)
DeleteI always enjoying reading your post. Hope's dress in that first post is too adorable. Is this an actual city picture imposed upon the dress? Would be interesting to know. You are such a great mom!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! That means the world to me!!!
DeleteI love Hope's dress too! It's from Justice and has the Eiffel Tower on the front! Here's a link with a picture - sadly it's sold out. :(
