over the rainbow!
I'm not sure where or when my obsession with rainbows started but I'm so drawn to them! I guess you could say I'm slightly obsessed with ROY G BIV! Yes, we just wrapped up Valentine's Day but I'm already thinking ahead to St. Patrick's Day and how I can incorporate more rainbows in my life! Because rainbows are definitely my FAVORITE!
I don't have a green thumb but I think even I could pull this off! ;) A few white daisies, glasses vases, food coloring, and water. Add them all together and you've got a combo for a fabulous centerpiece! I can't wait borrow this idea!!!
RAINBOW FLOWER GARDEN PLANTER
Anyone have any pallets laying around just looking for the perfect (and easy!) project? Feel free to drop this beauty off by my house! You would be my FAVORITE person! :)
I know the girls would love to see these cute rainbow heart and clouds hanging from their ceiling! The link doesn't include instructions but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. #wishfulthinking
Speaking of wishful thinking... how fabulous are these rainbow shutters?! A girl can dream, right?!
RAINBOW GARLANDS OF HOPE
A few years ago I started following Patcine at The Will to Choose. She has the most heart breaking story of losing a child but that's not what drew me to her. What draws me to her is the absolute hope she places in Jesus Christ and His plan for her life. She blogs straight from her heart and I appreciate how raw she writes. Through her loss, she has realized a calling - to help other parents going through the same pain. She sells t-shirts to raise money for what she calls her Next Chapter. She also recently joined up with Mallory and through a gift Mallory was given, Mallory is also giving back to others. In her words:
We wanted to share this same gift to other families who have lost a loved one. A child, a brother, or a sister. Parents, or grandparents. Anyone who is feeling grief. So we are making these available for sale, and a portion of the proceeds are going to “The Will to Choose” Ministry to help other bereaved parents with the cost of losing a child.
You can request a garland for a bereaved parent or you can purchase one for yourself. Email Mallory at email@example.com with any questions you might have. I'm buying a rainbow one for myself and each time I look at it I will remember God's promise and also these incredibly strong families that are living every parent's nightmare.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful day and a weekend filled with all your FAVORITES!
Gig 'em and God bless!
