While I'm Waiting...Currently - March edition
The start of a new month must mean one thing... it's time for another Currently post!  I've said it time and time again but these posts are some of my favorite to put together!  I can't wait to see what everyone else is "currently" up to!

wishing:  If you've spent any amount of time around here, you know that I'm consumed with de-cluttering and organizing our house using the KonMari method.  It's a 26 WEEK challenge that I'm committed to but I really WISH there was more time to get things done!  Seems like I end up making a bigger mess in the time I have.  But, it's always waiting for me when I get back to it! ;)  It will be worth it.  It WILL be worth it!

craving:  Desperately craving time with my man!  This time last year we were getting ready for a little Vegas get away but between all the kids activities and the KM method of destroying organizing our house, there's just not much extra time.  Maybe a lunch date is in order today! ;)

going:   Holden turns 11 at the end of our Spring Break and we will celebrate by going to Fort Worth.  We convinced Shelly and Carly to come with us and we can't wait!  A weekend of just girls doing just what we want to do?!  Yes, please!

wearing:   Since Operation Closet Purge has concluded, I have been wearing lots of things that I honestly forgot I even had!

learning:  I'm learning that parenting isn't for sissies!  I recently posted 10 things I want my kids to know before they move out and I think God thought I needed extra practice!  Phew!  Last week was rough but thankfully this week has been better.

What are you currently up to?

Hope you have a fabulous day!  Gig 'em and God bless!

  5. I LOVE doing organizing projects like that, but it really is way more satisfying when there's enough time, right? I haven't quite tackled the KonMari thing yet, with a toddler around... And on that note I feel you on the parenting ups and downs. Here's to a good week to come :) Thanks for linking up!

    1. Hi, Anne! Thanks so much for stopping by! Oh, yes, time! It's so hard to find the time but so worth it. I'm finding that I get an hour here and an hour there. I have to make good use of those little bursts. But, when I see the finished products, it's almost tear worthy!

  6. Operation Closet Purge has been a disaster in my house! I ordered a new closet organizer from The Container Store but it took 3 weeks to arrive and then they sent the wrong size! So I've had my clothes ALL over the house for weeks and it's driving me insane!! I hope you and your man get some you time soon! I LOVE Fort Worth! I went to high school there :)

    Thanks for linking up!

    1. Oh, girl! I am SO sorry!!! I dumped my closet 4 (yes FOUR!) times during Operation Closet Purge so I totally understand! I hope all your items arrive soon! Once you get it all done, I PROMISE it's worth it and you will love going in to your closet again!

Any FW restaurant suggestions for four girls - two of them being tweens? :)

  10. It's so frustrating to get everything decluttered and in order. But at least once you are finished with the first major round, everything gets so much easier!!

    1. I can totally see that, Jamie! I was worried that the areas I have already completed would re-clutter but so far, so good! I'm ready to get to the maintenance part versus the de-clutter part! ;) Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day!

  12. A girls weekend sounds fun and perfect! Enjoy it! As for parenting...definitely not for sissies....they hurt, I hurt. IT's emotionally draining and exhausting and yet I wouldn't change it for the world!
