I'm posting a little early this week since we're on Spring Break! Whoop!!! Here's a glimpse into what I did last week while I waited...
Mondays are dance days and it's a quick outfit change once Holden gets off the bus. As I came out the door to get in the car, I was greeted by this barefoot ballerina shooting hoops! It made me think of the quote "be yourself because an original is worth more than a copy." #shesanoriginal #luckytobehermom
Picked up Holden from art class on Tuesday and got a sneak peak of what she's currently working on!!! LOVE!
Wednesdays brought rain. The girls love how the rain drops puddle on the sun roof in my car!
A dreary, rainy day couldn't dampen my mood because my Spring Causebox was waiting on me when I got home! My favorite piece was the "hope" Giving Keys necklace!!!
Caught Hope "helping" Colby with his Algebra homework. #adorable
Thursday was Rodeo Day at Hope's school and she.could.not.wait!!!
She's a little bit sass and a lotta cray cray!
Couldn't help but do a then and now! I actually saved the Cowgirl shirt that Holden wore to her Kindergarten Rodeo. #cuethetears
Loved being able to watch my little cowgirl run around and have fun with her friends!
I was surprised to find out that Mike was taking off work on Friday. Little did he know that I had a Honey Do List just waiting for him to tackle! ;)
As soon as the bigs got home from school, we headed to our local fro yo place. Spoons before dinner must mean one thing - SPRING BREAK is here!!!
Hope was scheduled to have a soccer game on Saturday but it was too wet from all the rain we had received this week. Mike and Colby didn't mind - that meant they got to watch the Aggies absolutely destroy LSU 71-38! Whoop! I think that was the first enjoyable game I've seen them watch! For once they weren't screaming at the TV! Come on, Ags! Finish with another win today!
This is what's known as a Spring Break miracle - that's the teen ACTUALLY READING A REAL BOOK! (And, this is the second day this week I've caught him reading!) #gasp
Later in the afternoon the girls and I headed to get pedicures. Must admit that I was jealous of Hope's rainbow toes!
And this is Happy Spring Break to me! ;)
We're headed to meet up with Dede and Pop Pop for a few days so there will be a little blog silence. Don't worry - I'm sure I'll have plenty to share when we get back!
I'm so glad you stopped by! Have an extraordinary week!
Gig 'em and God bless!

Haha! Never thought about it that way! Yep - triple threat! ;)
DeleteHave a great spring break!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, JulieAnn!!!
DeleteWhat a great week you had. I was looking at the brackets and the only way that Cal and A&M could meet in the Men's NCAA Tourney is in the Final Four.
ReplyDeleteThat wouldn't be such a bad thing for either of us, huh? I love filling out my bracket and competing against the fam!
DeleteI love the quote about being yourself! That's great advice for teens who are so worried about trying to be like others.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are so dang cute! I love your little cowgirl -- and your picture with her. Two beautiful women!
Have a great spring break.
Thank you for your sweet comment, Nina! I definitely think they are keepers! ;)
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have an incredible day!
