The Kids Behind the Blog - April edition

Our Pretty Little Girls
Today I'm joining Crystal from Hall Around TexasBeth from Our Pretty Little GirlsMeghan from The Adventure Starts HereJessica from Secrets of a SAHM, and Stephanie from Wife Mommy Me for their Kids Behind the Blog link-up, a monthly Q&A with the kids that made us mamas.  I absolutely LOVE these Q&A's with my kiddos!  Sometimes I get the answers I'm expecting, but not always!  It's fun for me to share #thekidsbehindtheblog!

While I'm Waiting...The Kids Behind the Blog - April edition
the kids behind While I'm Waiting... - Hope-age 5, Colby-age 14, and Holden-age 11

Here are the {very brief} answers my kiddos gave to this month's prompts!

1. What is your favorite thing to do with your friends?

"play sports, hang out"

"hang out, talk"

"play family with them" - she told me she's ALWAYS the big sister!

2.  Who is your favorite person?

I got the teen blank stare on this question so I changed the question to favorite athlete.
"Von Miller"
Why? (again, the teen blank stare) - "Because he was the Super Bowl MVP and he's an Aggie." #duh

"Carly"
Why? "Cause she's my best friend.  We're like peanut butter and dog treats.  Or, at least that's how Maggie would describe us."
While I'm Waiting...The Kids Behind the Blog - April edition

"Ava"
Why? "Cause I like swinging by her."

3.  When playing outside, what do your ideal sunny day plans look like?

"football, basketball, going swimming"
While I'm Waiting...The Kids Behind the Blog - April edition

"riding my bike or scooter"

"playing tag with my friends"

4.  What do you like to do when it's raining?  (Since April showers bring May flowers.)

"stay inside and sleep" - no truer words have ever been spoken!

"read a book"
She recently wrote her first guest post for me by doing a book review of The Secret Garden!  Be sure and check it out! #proudmama  She's almost ready for her next review!

"make a fort!"
While I'm Waiting...The Kids Behind the Blog - April edition
Rainy days and forts - that's one of my favorites too!

5.  If you could plant a garden of anything, what would you plant?

"Aggie bonnets"

"lemon trees!"
While I'm Waiting...The Kids Behind the Blog - April edition
In the summer of 2014, Holden planted seeds from a lemon slice in a Solo cup.  To her surprise, they started sprouting and we've been nursing this lemon tree ever since!  Wonder if we'll ever have lemons?!

"sunflowers"

Thank you so much to Crystal from Hall Around TexasBeth from Our Pretty Little GirlsMeghan from The Adventure Starts HereJessica from Secrets of a SAHM, and Stephanie from Wife Mommy Me for such a fun link-up!  Be sure to stop by and read all the other posts!  I'm already looking forward to next month's questions!

Thanks for stopping by!  Gig 'em and God bless!

  2. Love these 3 so much! Dillon wouldn't participate again because he only wanted to do it if he was the solo respondent. :) #mykidsareallspoiled

    1. Ah, thanks! Haha - solo respondent. I'm not sure my kids even realize what I'm doing! They know it's for a blog post but they just answer my questions and move on! ;)
