40 fun things to do before summer kicks the bucket!

Summer bucket lists - what's not to love about them?!  I've learned over the past few summers that by creating a list, we are much more intentional about our summers. Nothing says that we will check off every single item but it's fun when we are planning our day to try and squeeze in an item off our list.

My one little word for 2016 is extra-ordinary.  I truly hope we have an ordinary summer filled with extra-ordinary memories!!!  Here are 40 fun things we hope to do before summer kicks the bucket!

While I'm Waiting...Summer Bucket List!

In addition to our bucket list, I've also tried to help make our summers more intentional. Don't get me wrong, we love sleeping late, hanging out in our pj's till noon and quickly getting dressed before dad gets home from work so that it doesn't look like we did any of that stuff but that only works on occasions.  I'm hoping by having these theme days that it will help us when someone wants to say those three little bad words - "I am bored!" #gasp #aintnobodygottimeforthat #wevegotmemoriestomake

While I'm Waiting...Summer Theme Days!

    1. So... what will you guys be up to? You definitely don't need kids to have a bucket list! Maybe I should have a separate one for Mike and I...

  9. Wonderful bucket list! We tend to use our list as more of guideline as well; not trying to check everything off but helping us think of something fun to do on those days we want to make some wonderful memories together.

  10. I like the idea of being intentional with the summer. It makes more sense than just letting it slip away! I will definitely be implementing a few of these ideas. Thanks!

    1. It's been a while for me too but I don't think the kids have been to one. There's just something about being under the stars, listening to music that just screams summer! Thanks so much for stopping by!
