happy mail - blogger scarf exchange

Annual Blogger Scarf Exchange

I LOVE receiving happy mail - boxes from Nordstroms, my quarterly CauseBox, or a surprise scarf from Vanessa's Blogger Scarf Exchange!  The excitement of opening the box to see what's inside never gets old!

I was over the moon excited to receive this precious blanket scarf from Rachel at Makeup Loving Mama!  She did her homework and wanted to make sure I would be able to wear the scarf she chose with all my maroon and white Aggie clothes.  How sweet is that?! You can bet I'll be wearing this scarf come October 29th for the next home Aggie game! Thank you so much, Rachel!

Here are a couple of ways you will see me wearing this awesome Aggie inspired blanket scarf! #denimforthewin

I listed 'similar' on many of the items because, truth be told, the average age of these items is at least 12 years old!  I know for a fact my denim jacket is circa 2000!  I love how the scarf that Rachel picked out for me adds a little pop to my normal uniform!

Rachel sent the scarf from a darling boutique called Frou Frou & Frill.  While I was looking around their site, I came across the PERFECT set of bangles!  I think these would compliment my new scarf, don't you?!

Thank you again, Rachel, and thank you for hosting, Vanessa!!!  This was so much fun!

Be sure and check out Sarah's blog, Foxy's Domestic Side, to see the scarf I sent her way!

I'm so glad you stopped by!  Hope you have an extraordinary day!

Gig 'em and God bless!

  4. That scarf is a winner! I am not a scarf person except when it is needed. I love how they look on others, but not myself. Great swap!

    1. I definitely think it's a winner too! And, I completely understand how you feel about scarves. I always think they look adorable on others but not so much on me. But...I've come to learn, it definitely takes practice to get the look that looks best on you. You can rock a scarf!

  5. That scarf is adorable, and I like your plans for it. I got a package in the mail today. Four of the lids for my small Tupperware containers broke. I called the Tupperware replacement number, and they sent me four new lids for $5 shipping. The old lids were kind of tan colored (hard to describe). The replacement lids are bright blue. They look cheerful. You go, girl, with your scarf and cute boots and denim jacket. My daughter is thirty and she still wears some clothes I got for her when she was in high school.

    Love,
    Janie
