Attitude of Gratitude - Teacher Edition

Phew!  This week thoroughly kicked.my.tail!  Who do I need to talk to about making sure Halloween always falls on a weekend?!  We've been dragging ever since Monday!

And while I know I'm not alone, my heart went out most to our teachers!  Holy heck!  I can't even imagine the level of tired they must feel after this week!  God bless them - each and every one!

As I sent off three very grumpy and tired kiddos on Tuesday morning, I immediately started to think about how I could show our teachers how much we appreciate all they do.  All the patience they show.  All the extra hours that go unpaid.  And, while most of these ideas are small tokens, I've come to realize they can make the biggest difference. Here are 5 simple ways to show your teacher how much you appreciate them - especially the week after Halloween! :)

What teacher wouldn't love starting his or her day with a breakfast treat?  This gift would be easy for even the youngest kiddo to deliver.

Coffee.  Enough said.

You might get lucky and have lots of extra KitKats in your Halloween candy stash to help pull off this treat!  Just put them in a cute bag, add this printable and TADA!  The perfect thank you gift!

This is the PERFECT afternoon pick-me-up!  I've never met anyone who doesn't love a Sonic drink!

Have multiple teachers but wonder how to carry all the drinks?  This genius mama has it all figured out!

I love this mani/pedi in a bag idea!  If you REALLY wanted to thank your teacher, you could include a gift certificate to her favorite nail spa!

What's your FAVORITE way to thank a teacher?

And before I forget...today I'm joining up with a couple of my FAVORITE people - Katy and Shelly - for a GIVEAWAY!  Why?!  Because we are THANKFUL for YOU!

  2. At least someone thinks about us and thank you for that. Just celebrated my 20th anniversary in education and had a parent cuss me out on my anniversary day. It is a normal way of life.

Schools need more people like you that support us rather than tear us apart.

Again thank you and have a wonderful weekend.

  6. Great ideas! And the pillow is perfect! This year, I'm especially thankful for family. My aging parents have suffered serious health problems & I sent my youngest off to college. Really makes me appreciate every moment we are all together!
