Weekend Recap - better late than never!

Tis the season for all the extra performances, Christmas parties, and extra holiday cheer! I'm a few days late posting pics from our weekend but here they are anyway!  Just a peek into our little slice of crazy!

Waldo returned on December 1st and the girls were crazy excited to have him back!  On Friday morning we found him just hanging out on our mirror!

I've got a few things in the works right now that have led to some sleepless nights and long days.  I treated myself to a solo lunch on Friday to decompress!

Due to the fact that we won't be here for Christmas, we have a remodel started after the first of the year, and a few other things we have going, we decided to not decorate for Christmas. #gasp Apparently Waldo did NOT like this so he used a little Elf Magic and found the kiddos' Christmas trees.  These were waiting on them on Saturday morning.

After a fun morning of crafting with friends, it was finally time for this one to dance, dance, dance!!!  She had been looking forward to this for so long!

Hope and her friend, Laney.  They are the two youngest team members.

We couldn't have asked for a sweeter group of girls!!!

Dancing at the George Bush Library over the holidays has become a tradition for us.  I love watching them dance!

Love that all three would get together (with minimal complaining!) and take a picture with Santa!

After the performance, Mike and I drove to Houston for a work Christmas party but we were thankful that Dede & Pop Pop were in town!

Caught these two goofing off in the parking lot!  Be still my heart!!!

After about the 10th time of Mini tackling the Christmas trees, she decided to sit as close to everything - and every elf - as possible!

Dede took the girls to see the Nutcracker while Holden taught Dede the art of selfies!

They loved texted me updates about how much they liked their seats, the dancing, etc.!

I took exactly zero pictures from the night before at our Christmas party #bloggerfail but I couldn't wait to document this glorious breakfast!

Mike and I spent the whole day in Houston window shopping - seriously - we bought two tiny things and that was it.  But, he was happy because he got to cart surf through IKEA!

Meanwhile, back in CStat, the grandparents were taking the kids to see a few Christmas lights - in the pouring rain!

We arrived home to find that Waldo and Joy had floated in earlier in the day and landed on our bed!  Thankfully it was easy moving them so we could turn in!  It was a fun weekend but exhausting none the less!

I feel silly asking about your weekend since it's been so long!  But, I hope your week has been good so far and that you are looking forward to a fun weekend coming up!

Gig 'em and God bless!
