Katy, Shelly and I are so glad you are here and hope you'll link up with us! It's a fun way for us to see what you guys are up to! Here's a quick peek into what's going on around here!
Today's post is going to be a quick one because, well, MAY! :)
* STAYING - Mike and I have been STAYING up way too late lately. Between unpacking and preparing for the last week of school/beginning of summer (not to mention work and other commitments), we've been maxing out our waking hours. We finally stopped unpacking tonight (or this morning, however you look at it!) after midnight but then we stayed up a little bit longer so I could get together the end-of-year gifts for teachers/friends. Now, you could tell me that I could have not done that this year and I totally agree but this is what I live for! I love, love, love giving gifts and no matter how late I STAY up, it's always worth it! And, just in case you need some last minute ideas, here's what we put together!!!
I put together these fun little baskets for Holden's teachers.
The tag read, "just add...SUMMER!"
The tag read, "just add...SUMMER!"
A fun magazine, sunscreen, glitter nail polish, and a glass cup filled with chocolate - I hope they like it!!!
I found these precious pineapple glasses at Wal-Mart! #yesIsaidWal-Mart
I love a theme so a few months back when I found these Dr. Seuss goodies in the Target dollar spot, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for Hope's class and her teacher!
I couldn't find my hole punch #becausemoving so I placed the tags inside the bag.
Hope's Kinder teacher loves Dr. Seuss so I was so excited when I found this wreath on Etsy! It's a little more than I normally spend on end of year gifts but it was just too cute (and because Kindergarten is such a special year!)!
Here's the card I made on PicMonkey to go along with the wreath. I still can't believe my baby is about to go to 1st grade! #denial
* WAITING ON... - The LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! I have a few fun surprises for the kiddos and can't WAIT to see their reaction! Should be fun!
I shared our Summer Bucket List yesterday and we are SO ready to get started!
Don't forget to link up with us before you go! We look forward to you sharing what's going on in your world!
Be sure and grab out graphic and link back to us. Oh, and since this is a new link-up, please share away!

ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! These little baskets definitely came together very last minute! ;) And, you were right, Hope's teacher LOVED her wreath!
DeleteSuch adorable gifts! I'll take the basket with the Duchess of Cambridge in it.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Thank you! Oh, and I {might} have looked through the magazine with Kate on the front! ;)
DeleteI was I was a teacher so I could have a summer basket! :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should coordinate a blogger summer basket exchange!!! :)
DeleteWish I had parents like you. Been teaching for two decades and I count on one hand anything I have got from parents the last day of school. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI get a whole four days off next week before a prep day and then teaching summer school. Don't know what I am going to myself on those four days.
