Summer Bucket List

Welcome to SUMMER!
Well, school is almost done!  Let's just say summer is so close we can feel it (not to mention that our office has been without AC for the last few days so, yes, I can literally feel summer!).

It's no secret that summer is my favorite time of the year.  I love when our schedules free up to lazy days and lots of fun.  This summer will be different though.  This is my first summer in seven years to be a working mom.  When deciding whether or not to accept the job, summer with the kiddos was the #1 thing that brought a lump to my throat regardless of how I spun it.  For seven summers, we have slept late, gone to the pool whenever we wanted, made big messes, volunteered together, and run from here to there meeting up with friends.  This summer I'll have to be more intentional so my yearly Summer Bucket List will help me to come up with fun ways to make each moment count. So, while I might be working, you can guarantee that I'll be waiting on 5 o'clock so I can get home and make some memories this summer!

Summer Bucket List!!!

You should join us!  Print this Bucket List, start checking things off, and come back and let me know what you guys have been up to!  Let's make this the best summer yet!

  2. Oh snow cones, nothing says summer like a snow cone and being a sticky mess. I agree, when you're a working parent you have to cherish all the time and squeeze everything in!

    1. Sno cones and sticky go hand in hand, right?! I'm thinking we need to go grab them tomorrow when the kids get out of school!!!

  6. Some of us volunteer to teach all summer as some of us are trying to put two kids through college with minimal debt but there are a lot of things I will be doing.

    1. The struggle can be tough but I know you guys will appreciate getting them through college! With your time taken up so much with work, it definitely causes us to be more intentional with the time that we do have with our families!
