Today I'm sharing a home tour - with a few Halloween touches here and there!
Welcome!!!
I purchased the Boo! wreath last year just a week or so before we decided to remodel the house. After deciding to go from one front door to two, I had to make a call to see if the wreath maker could make me another one! I've been waiting all year to hang these wreaths!!!
I added a few touches here and there to the kiddos' living room.
I found these colorful pumpkins a few years ago at HEB!
These pirate decorations are left over from Hope's preschool trunk-or-treat but I think they are perfect in this room!
Apparently, potty humor never goes out of style because this little guy is Hope's FAVORITE Halloween decoration! This could have been my one and only decoration and she would have been perfectly happy!
He's motion activated and says some pretty hilarious phrases!
A creation from my DIY days!
I didn't go crazy with decorations but you can find a few Halloween happies scattered here and there.
Kid art will always be part of our decorations. Holden painted this years ago and it always makes me smile when I pull it out year after year!
This light box is my FAVORITE! I typically update it with the Aggies' opponent each week but we were on a bye week last week so I added "Happy Halloween"!
I found these candlesticks at Target a few years ago and absolutely love them since they are battery operated. I'm so nervous about leaving real candles burning but these have the same look - without the worry!
A friend made me this fabric garland a few years ago and I thought it paired perfectly with our football banner!
And I saved my favorite for last - our dining table! This place setting was super easy to create using orange bandanas and plastic fangs as napkin rings. My girls were super impressed! ;)
And, that's it - a little peek into our home decorated for Halloween! Do you decorate for Halloween/fall or do you wait for the big one that's just a few weeks away?! I'll take most of these decorations down after Halloween and add a few Thanksgiving touches but on a very, very small scale. The house always looks so bare when you take your decorations down!
Today I'm joining the girls at The Blended Blog for their Fall Home Tour. Stop by to take a peek into other's homes too! I love looking at homes and can't wait to see what everyone shares!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a week that's not too scary!!!
Wow, you did a fantastic job with the tableware settings. I never would've thought that bandanas and plastic fangs would work like that. Halloween is my favorite time of year so I'm totally diggin' all your decor.
ReplyDeleteYou did GREAT for "only a few" decorations! I love the little touches everywhere, including the bathroom! LOL!! Thanks for linking up at the Blended Blog!
ReplyDeleteI tend to decorate more for Halloween than fall, too! Love your front door wreaths and aren't you so lucky that she could do another so perfectly!? Love all your decor!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful tour. Looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness -so many awesome things here...I think your table is my fave but I love that your kids have a living rooM! Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteYour table turned out so cute! Love that you found your buffalo check plates. I was wondering why you needed those orange bandanas...your mom showed them to me. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your Halloween decor! How do you like your big lightbox? I had the smaller version, but it got flooded. So I'm debating on big or small for replacing?
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great! I love all your wreaths and banners!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I've been out of the decorating spirit for the same reasons you listed... maybe I'll find my mojo again soon! :) Love every single thing!
ReplyDeleteI love all your decorations. The psychedelic pumpkins in your kids' space are my favorites but your dining table with the fang napkin rings is a close second. Great Job and Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteMy family decorates for Halloween, but it's kind of like your house - nothing too crazy, but enough to have fun with. LOVE that ghost in the bathroom. Too cute. And Holden's painting is so good!!
